Alvrun

Privacy

Updated 25 October 2026

Alvrun holds the everyday details of your family’s life, so we keep this simple: we only use them to help you, we never sell them, and you can take them with you or delete them whenever you like.

Who we are

Alvrun is run by Glauser Creative AB in Sweden, which is responsible for your personal data. Questions go to oskar@glauser.com.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address and when you joined, only to tell you when Alvrun opens. Ask us and we’ll remove it. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots; it checks your browser without cookies for tracking or ads.

We count visits to this site with our own analytics, without cookies, IP addresses or anything that identifies you.

What we keep in the app

How we use it

To run Alvrun for you: answer your questions, remember what matters, send reminders and keep your family in sync. We don’t sell your data, show you ads or share it with anyone for their own use.

To answer, Alvrun sends the part of a conversation, memory or file it needs to a hosted AI model. Only what the answer needs is sent.

Who sees what

Your chat with Alvrun is yours. Memories, reminders and photos saved to your family are shared with its members. People outside your family can’t see them.

Who helps us run it

A few providers process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements: our server host (Hostup, Sweden), Cloudflare (network, file storage, email, the waitlist and its spam check), our email sender, the AI model provider (OpenAI) and our analytics service. When a provider handles data outside the EU, it does so under EU-approved safeguards.

How long we keep it

For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your data is deleted with it; backups are overwritten within a limited time. Things you shared with your family stay with the family until a member deletes them.

Your rights

You can see, correct, download and delete your data. Download and account deletion are in Settings in the app; for anything else, email us. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Children

Children use Alvrun as part of a family, set up and looked after by a parent or guardian.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it applies.
